Winemaking: Organic grapes were hand harvested and fermented with indigenous yeast. The wine was bottled before fermentation finished (ancestral method) to create a sparkling Pet Nat wine. No fining, filtration or added sulphur. 

This Wine: The easiest pet nat around! Sparkling white wine with only 11,5% alcohol volume. Crisp and green. Great for casual occasions with friends or as an aperitif. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Vincent Alexis is an eighth generation winemaker in the Bergerac / Monbazillac region south of Bordeaux who makes superb value wines from local varieties. Everything is certified organic and biodynamic and now many cuvées are completely free of added sulphur. He can produce fun and easy-drinking wines such as his iconic Splash Pet Nat as well as more serious styles such as his Pécharment cru red wine. He is a warm and welcoming character so it's always a pleasure to stock his bottles.
