Winemaking: Organic Syrah grapes were a harvested by hand. Crushed in whole bunches followed by 2 weeks of gentle punch downs by hand. Fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged in amphora. Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural red wine with a medium to full body. A sublime expression of Syrah from the renowned region of Saint Joseph. This displays such a glorious purity of fruit and a beautiful, silky texture with elegant, soft tannins. Complex flavours of plum, blackberry, smoke, meat, graphite, herbs and spice alongside perfectly balanced acidity. A very special wine. Only 2400 bottles produced

Notes on the Winemaker: Hugo Vercasson harvested his first vintage in 2021 at the tender age of 22 years old. Incredible that he is already making huge waves in the world of natural wine thanks to his elegant and refined Northern Rhône cuvées. He has a great ability to find the balance between power and finesse in every wine.
