Winemaking: Organic Trebbiano grapes were harvested by hand. Two weeks on the skins. Fermentation with indigenous yeast in stainless steel tanks. Bottled with no fining or filtration and just a small amount of sulphur.

This Wine: Natural orange wine from Lazio with a mineral focus supported by citrus fruits and subtle floral notes. Easy drinking but with some nice complexity. Great, everyday, skin contact wine. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Leo Sassi comes from a family of bakers in Rome who run a farm in the Lazio countryside that supplies the shop and bakery in the city. He was inspired to restore the family's abandoned vineyard and now produces easy drinking styles at affordable price points.
