Winemaking: A field blend of 10 red and white grape varieties were hand harvested and crushed by foot. Fermented in concrete tanks with indigenous yeast. Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: The Catalan cult classic back for the 2022 vintage and is looking as electric as ever in the glass. Light pink with refreshing acidity and notes of citrus and berry fruit. So easy to drink that you might need 2 bottles.

Notes on the Winemaker: Toni Carbó is one half of the esteemed Cava house (with friend Ramon Jané), Mas Candí in Penedés. He started his own project La Salada in 2012 to focus on making wines like his Grandfather used to. They are some of most sought after as they provide an authentic and honest expression of Catalan terroir.
