Vegan friendly wine

Winemaking: Organic Sylvaner grapes were harvested by hand. Fermentation with indigenous yeast in stainless steel tanks. No fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: A litre of white natural wine made from old vines of Sylvaner grown on schist and sandstone soils. In the words of the winemakers, this is a bottle to share with friends over a simple meal. But time in bottle has developed this into a much more serious wine full of dark, mineral elements and preserved citrus. Such a bargain for the quality in display here.

Notes on the Winemaker: The Bohn family has been making wine in the Alsatian commune of Reichsfeld for over 300 years. Now father and son duo, Bernard and Arthur run the winery and find a balance between innovative and traditional approaches to winemaking. The vines are certified organic with biodynamic practices employed.
