Winemaking: Organic Viognier, Grenache Blanc and Grenache Gris grapes were harvested by hand. 8 day maceration with the stems in fibreglass tanks. Aged on the lees in tank before bottling with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.
This Wine: Natural orange wine from deep in the south of France. Beautifully textured with floral aromas and notes of pineapple and other tropical fruits. Rustic but very well balanced. One sip takes you straight to Roussillon!
Notes on the Winemaker: Alex Langlois makes natural wine in the Pyrénées-Orientales, close to the border with Spain. His first vintage was in 2016 and he works with indigenous varieties to produce expressive and characterful wines from this wild region.
