Winemaking: Organic white grape varieties were harvested by hand and de-stemmed.  Fermentation with indigenous yeast in stainless steel tanks where the wine aged for 6 months. Gentle filtration and small amount of sulphur on bottling.

This Wine: Crisp and clean white wine from Asturias made from a blend of grapes. Easy drinking with notes of green fruits and citrus. Enjoy with shellfish.

Notes on the Winemaker: Fran Asencio oversees the Urogallo winery that is nestled in the Cangas del Narcia mountains of Asturias. Fran concentrates on local grape varieties that reflect this part of "green" Spain where the influence of the Atlantic Ocean can't be understated.
