Winemaking: Organic grapes from the domain were hand harvested and fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeast. No fining, filtration or added sulphur.
This Wine: This is is re-imagination of a Ploussard from the Jura so you can expect a light to medium bodied red wine with delicate spice and floral notes alongside full-throttle fruit. The touch of white juice brings some refreshing energy.
Notes on the Winemaker: Jean Françoise Coutelou is a godfather of the natural wine movement in Europe. His vineyards have been certified organic since 1987 and he even had a nursery dedicated to growing rare and indigenous grape varieties. His Classe cuvée was one of the first natural wines we ever had back around 2013 and we haven't stopped loving his wines ever since.
