Winemaking: Organic grapes were hand harvested before fermentation with indigenous yeast in concrete tanks. Bottled with no fining or filtration and just a small amount of sulphur.
This Wine: The wine previously known as Rube Rosso, this is a natural red wine with a splash of white juice (Cortese) which brings an uplifting vibe to all the juicy red and black fruit. Unbeatable value as usual from this winery. New label courtesy of Ed Curtis.
Notes on the Winemaker: Valli Unite has been an organic co-operative in Piedmonte since 1981. The winery is powered with solar energy and the team take a holistic approach to farming and winemaking. In our opinion, they produce the best value natural wines out there.
