This Wine: Natural white wine with a medium to full body. Bergeron is the the name used in Savoie for the Roussanne grape variety famously found in the Northern Rhône. This is deep and powerful wine that still displays an elegant side. Stone fruits and minerals dominate here. An age worthy bottle.
Notes on the Winemaker: Gilles and Christine Berlioz have been working organically in Savoie since the 90s around the area of Chignin. Biodynamic practises were later adopted as a way to produce finer and more precise wines that soon became iconic in France and further afield. The Domaine Partagé name reflects the collective spirit of the operation that has seen many faces come and lend a hand over the years.
