Winemaking: Organic grapes harvested by hand Fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged in tank until the following Spring. No filtration, fining or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural white wine that very much speaks of where it comes from. Grown at 600m above sea level, the grapes retain plenty of fresh acid and mineral notes alongside flavours of lemon and mountain flowers. A great bottle for Spring.  

Notes on the Winemaker: Alex Della Vecchia makes natural wine in the Dolomite mountains in northeastern Italy. There is a long tradition of sparkling wine in this part of the country and this is something Alex wants to preserve. Col Fondo style wines with skin contact techniques and no additions. He works 4 hectares of vines and also purchases organic fruit from neighbouring growers.
