Winemaking: Grapes were hand harvested and fermented with indigenous yeast in old barrels. Bottled with no filtration or fining and just a touch of sulphur.
This Wine: A natural red wine that is best served chilled. Light body with fresh cherry flavours. There is something a bit Cola-like about it too. Or is that just the bottle? The easiest of drinking on a sunny day.
Notes on the Winemaker: Claus Preisinger hails from the north of Burgenland in Austria and has made quite a name for himself in the natural wine world. His vineyards have been biodynamic since 2006 and he creates lively and vibrant wines.
