Winemaking: Organic were grapes were harvested by hand. Whole bunches were pressed into stainless steel tanks for fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged on the lees. No filtration or fining and just a touch of sulphur on bottling.

This Wine: Natural wine made from a blend of red and white grapes. This is a super juicy affair with loads of fresh, fleshy fruit. Somewhere between a rosé and a light red, this a fun bottle to share with friends. Drink chilled. 

Notes on the Winemaker:  Alex and Maria Koppitsch produce characterful, fun natural wines by Lake Neusiedl in the Burgenland region of Austria. They started their project in 2011 with the intention to work holistically in the vineyard and with a hands-off approach in the cellar. The wines are excellent value and serve as gateway bottles for newcomers to the world of natural world.
