Vegan friendly wine

Winemaking: Organic red grapes from red clay soils were harvested by hand. Whole bunch fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged in old barrels 12 months. No fining, filtration or added sulphur. 

This Wine: Natural red wine made with grapes from the villages of Felanitx and Porreres. This is medium bodied a great concentration of dark fruit, herbs, spice with a saline finish. I start picturing those Mallorcan pine trees with every sip! This is the cuvée that was previously known as Chateau Pacquita which caused a real buzz when first released by Eloi. Made in tiny quantities.

Notes on the Winemaker: We first became aware of Eloi around 2016 whilst he was working as a winemaker for 4Kilos in Mallorca. Despite the warm climate of the island, he was producing delicate but complex wines that brimmed with Balearic character. Later he moved into the cellar of Cati Ribot to focus on his own cuvées under the Sistema Vinari name. These wines offer even more personality and always find the perfect balance of wildness and precision.
