Winemaking: Organic Catarratto grapes were hand harvested and pressed directly. Fermented with indigenous yeast in concrete tanks. No filtration or fining. Small amount of sulphur on bottling.

This Wine: Natural white wine that represents a new cuvée from Nino. The signature Barraco salinity is presented alongside citrus and stone fruit with a touch of that cereal note that this grape variety often expresses. Great precision and a long finish. A bargain at this price and would work very well with seafood. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Nino Barraco is a natural winemaker in Sicily who has is dedicated to showing that his home region of Marsala is not all about sweet and fortified wine. He showcases the strengths of local grape varieties such as Grillo and Catarratto by producing intense, dry wines that instantly evoke a sun-baked, Mediterranean vibe.
