Winemaking: Organic Chardonnay grapes were hand harvested and underwent direct press into stainless steel tanks. Traditional sparkling wine method (Champagne) where the base wine was re-fermented in bottle. Aged for 24 months before disgorgment. Zero dosage. Small amount of sulphur on bottling

This Wine: Sparkling white wine made in the Crémant style. Acid driven but with roundness to match. Complex minerals, green apples, citrus and toasty notes. 

Notes on the Winemaker:  Les Marnes Blanches is the project of Pauline & Géraud Fromont who make natural wine in their home region of the Jura. They farm 12 hectares of vines across the Sud-Revermont using organic techniques and have a low intervention approach in the cellar.
