Winemaking: Organic Chenin Blanc grapes were harvested by hand. Direct press before fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged in old barrels. This is a blend of the 2020 and 2021 vintages. No filtration or fining. Tiny amount of sulphur on bottling. 

This Wine: Natural white wine with a rich and round profile but the acidity to match. The blend of different vintages has resulted in a balanced and precise Chenin with all the characteristics fans of this variety adore. Minerals and citrus galore. Great value. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Côme Isambert teaches at winemaking school near Saumur in the Loire valley but also produces his own wine in very small quantities. He enjoys experimenting with different grape varieties, colours and even different fruits and always creates something unique and sophisticated.
