This Wine: Natural red wine with a light body and low alcohol content. A brand new cuvée from Babass which is dedicated to Agnes, his partner. Electric red fruit flavours with light, dusty tannins. A touch of well-integrated volatile acidity brings further energy to this fun bottle that should be drunk from the fridge.
Notes on the Winemaker: Babass is a legendary name in the world of natural wine. Winemaker Sebastién Dervieux set up this domaine (now 4 hectares) in the Loire back in 2011 after previously working with Patrick Desplats as Domaine des Griottes. He produces wild wines from local grape varieties that reflect terroir and vintage authentically.
