This Wine: Natural white wine from an iconic winemaker in the Loire valley. 2023 was a cooler year than usual which results in a high acid wine, brimming with energy. Lemon, white peach and a strong mineral backbone. Will keep getting better for a long time yet.
Notes on the Winemaker: Jean Pierre Robinot produces some of the most acclaimed and sought after natural wines in the world. He moved to the Loire valley early in the 21st century after running a wine bar in Paris and now produces red wines from Pineau d'Aunis and whites from Chenin Blanc. The energy in a Robinot bottle really must be experienced at some point in your life! Age-worthy and unique wines, for sure.
