Winemaking: Organic Chenin Blanc grapes were harvested by hand and underwent fermentation with indigenous yeast in old barrels. Aged in barrel and then stainless steel tanks. No filtration or fining. Small amount of added sulphur on bottling. 

Notes on the winemaker: Few producers command as much reverence in Anjou as Stéphane Bernaudeau. Having honed his craft alongside Mark Angeli, Bernaudeau works just three hectares of meticulously tended, biodynamic vines around Martigné-Briand. Focusing exclusively on single-parcel dry Chenin Blanc from very old vines, his low-intervention wines are revered for their chiseled precision, fiery salinity, and electric energy. Pure Loire Chenin at its absolute peak.
