Winemaking: Organic Chenin Blanc grapes from 70 year old vines were harvested by hand. Direct press and fermentation in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeast. Aged fora year in tank and a further year in old barrels. The bottles were rested for 2 years before release. No filtration, fining or added sulphur. 

This Wine: Natural white wine with a full body and ripe fruit characteristics but with the acidity to balance. Rich and round but with refreshing minerals striking throughout. Very long finish. Pair with food. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Michel Autran produces dry wines in the region of Vouvrary which is usually synonymous with sweet and off dry whites. He works with 3.5 hectares of vines on some of the best terroir in this area. His first vintage was 2013 and he is now using biodynamic practices.
