Winemaking: Organic Corbinello grapes were harvested by hand. De-stemmed before 5 day maceration. Fermentation with indigenous yeast in fibreglass tanks. Aged in old barrels for 10 months and then a further year in bottle. No filtration, fining or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural red wine with a light to medium body and high acid. A deep and dark colour in the glass, this wine shows delicate, perfumed notes alongside a more savoury and spicy character. A wild and unique expression of this rare grape variety. Best served with food.

Notes on the Winemaker: Alberto Buratti farms just over 3 hectares of vines in the Colli Euganei region of Veneto. He grew up around these vineyards when his Grandfather worked them but it wasn't until 2019 that he took the plunge to take over full time. Now he works with local and international grape varieties that he grows organically and doesn't add anything in the winemaking process.
