Ottavio Rube Bianco 2021
Grape Variety: Cortese & Timorasso
Producer: Valli Unite Co-Op (Alessando Poretti)
Region: Costa Vescovato, Piemonte, Italy
Wild Scale: 4/5
Vegan friendly wine
Winemaking: Organic Cortese grapes were fermented with indigenous yeast in stainless steel tanks. Bottled with no fining or filtration and just a small amount of sulphur.
This Wine: This is a white natural wine with a touch of skin contact. Amazingly characterful considering the price. The wine was previously sold to the restaurant chain Franca Manca, hence the same font on the label. This is no longer the case and the label will change for the next vintage. In the meantime you can snap up this bargain wine!
Notes on the Winemaker: Valli Unite has been an organic co-operative in Piedmonte since 1981. The winery is powered with solar energy and the team take a holistic approach to farming and winemaking. In our opinion, they produce the best value natural wines out there.
