Winemaking: Biodynamic Dureza grapes were a harvested by hand. Direct press before fermentation with indigenous yeast and the wine was bottled before this process was complete in order to trap fizz inside the bottle (Ancestral winemaking technique - Pet Nat). Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural sparkling rosé made from a rare grape variety of the Northern Rhône related in someway to Syrah. Low in alcohol and amazingly refreshing with flavours of raspberry, red cherry and minerals. Crisp, clean finish. Bargain. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Jean Delobre makes elegant but powerful but elegant wines in the Saint Joseph region of Northern Rhône. The vineyards have been biodynamic since 1997 and within the winery, there is a hands-off approach with the aim being to let the quality of the fruit shine through in the finished wine. Now he is handing over to his daughter Aurore who will be the 4th generation to run the family farm. They both came to Highbury Library in February 2026 to present at one of our Wine Club evenings.
