Winemaking: An organic field blend of grapes were harvested by hand. Fermentation with indigenous yeast.  Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural red wine with a light body or a darker rosé, you decide! A touch of spritz on opening followed by a explosion of complex fruits and subtle herbal notes. Drink it chilled but not too cold as you don't want to miss the intensity and assortment of flavours on show here. 

Notes on the Winemaker: L'Absurde Génie des Fleurs is the winemaking project of Tom Gautier & Miha Trifa who set up shop in the Languedoc town of Bedarieux. Tom previously worked in the wine bars of Nantes whilst Miha, who is from Romania, spent time living in Paris where she fell in love with natural wine. The business partners now produce light but amazingly concentrated wines from local varieties such as Cinsault, Aramon and Terret.
