Winemaking: Organic Gamay grapes were harvested by hand. Semi carbonic maceration and fermentation with indigenous yeast. Bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural red wine with a medium body. The focus here is on fresh fruit but after a few years in bottle there is some nice development of darker and earthier notes. Great balance with fresh acidity and nothing too wild. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Michel Guignier is a Beaujolais winemaker situated between the appellations of Fleurie and Chiroubles. He produces precise and balanced wine full of character thanks in part to the biodiversity that he fosters around his vineyards.
