Winemaking: Organic Gamay grapes from granite soils were hand harvested. Half underwent direct press whilst the rest were infused as whole bunches for 25 days.  Fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged in tank for 9 months. Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Sublime natural red wine with a light to medium body. Layer upon layer of complexity with perfumed floral elements, black cherry fruit, delicate spice and a hint of smoke. A special expression of Gamay that should be savoured.

Notes on the Winemaker: Paulette Mazinou produces incredible natural wines in very small quantities in the Ardèche village of Quintenas. She previously worked with La Ferme Des Sept Lunes before making her first vintage and now the wines have become highly sought-after for their purity and character.
