Winemaking: Organic Gamay grapes from granite soils were hand harvested. Half underwent direct press whilst the rest were infused as whole bunches for 25 days.  Fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged in tank for 9 months. Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural red wine with a light to medium body. Wonderful intensity and concentration of fruit whilst maintaining its exquisite and delicate nature. Dark fruit and deep minerals combine to show the 2023 vintage wasn't just a one-off. A complex expression of one of our favourite grape varieties. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Paulette Mazinou produces incredible natural wines in very small quantities in the Ardèche village of Quintenas. She previously worked with La Ferme Des Sept Lunes and Daniel Sage before making her first vintage and now the wines have become highly sought-after for their purity and unique character.
