Winemaking:  Organic grapes were sourced from another grower and underwent maceration before fermentation with indigenous yeast. Bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural skin contact wine with a medium body. Citrus peel, subtle spice and Mediterranean herbs come together wonderfully. A great balance of fruity and savoury elements with soft tannins. Great with or without food.

Notes on the Winemaker: Fruita Analogica is the negotiant project (where they buy grapes from other growers to produce the wine) of Vinyes Tortuga aka Dido and Jurriaan. The duo hail from the Netherlands and travelled the world learning winemaking before settling right in the North of Catalunya not far from the French border. They crowdfunded their vineyard purchase and are now on their 3rd vintage making wine that is full of joy. We visited in 2019 and listened to records in their winery whilst tasting samples. Each cuvée has a different reference to one of their favourite musicians.
