Winemaking: Organic Gewurztraminer grapes were harvested by hand and de-stemmed. Two week maceration and fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged in stainless steel tanks for 10 months. No fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural skin contact wine made from one of our favourite grape varieties. Quite a unique expression of Gewurztraminer with the main focus being on spice and floral aromatics. With profound sichuan pepper notes and dried rose petals, fruit takes a back seat here. Very different from the Habibi Cheri cuvée but we absolutely love it! A wine best served with food. 

Notes on the Winemaker:Anaïs Fanti is a third generation winemaker in her home village of Ammerschwihr in Alsace. She studied winemaking in Georgia before returning to farm just 1.5 hectares of vines spread across different plots. She works with organic and biodynamic farming techniques and vinifies in her uncle's small, simple cellar. The wines exude so much character and display a delicate touch of hand.
