Vegan friendly wine

Winemaking: Organic grapes were harvested by hand. Fermentation with indigenous yeast. Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur. 

This Wine: Light and juicy red wine made in a slightly different way to previous vintages due to adverse weather conditions. This time out, we have some white Moscatel and red Garnacha in the mix which brings extra complexity and a bright, aromatic character to the fresh cherry fruit. Great slightly chilled, goes down quickly.

Notes on the Winemaker: Josh is from Germany and Josie the UK. They met in the Marina Alta region of Valencia after Josie's family moved when she was young and John had a family home there. He completed his winemaking studies in Germany and South Africa before the couple acquired old bush vines in this region which are planted amongst citrus and olive trees. They farm Moscatel at lower plots and red varieties in areas of higher elevation and create hugely characterful wines full of Mediterranean and mountain influences.
