Winemaking: Organic Grenache grapes from 90 year old vines grown on sandy soils were hand harvested and underwent a 10-day, whole bunch, carbonic maceration. Fermented with indigenous yeast. Bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur. 

This Wine: Originally conceived as a one-off cuvée, we are delighted to see the return of Sa Fille! Very light and delicate but packed full of fruit, this is a classy, chillable red. Made in very small quantities. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Fergus Clague hails from South London and was involved in the culinary scene before setting off for the South of France in 2014. Four years later he and he was gearing up for his first harvest from his tiny, half-hectare plot of very old Grenache vines. All farming is organic with no ploughing and biodiversity is encouraged. Nothing added in the cellar.
