Winemaking: Organic Grillo grapes from 50 year old bush vines close to the sea were hand harvested and crushed before spending 1 day on the skins. Fermented with indigenous yeast in concrete tanks. No filtration, fining or added sulphur.  

This Wine: This is the new name for Nino's cuvée made from 100% Grillo grapes. Straw coloured in the glass with delicate but intense mineral notes and a strong green apple and pear character. Best served with seafood.

Notes on the Winemaker: Nino Barraco is a natural winemaker in Sicily who has is dedicated to showing that his home region of Marsala is not all about sweet and fortified wine. He showcases the strengths of local grape varieites sich as Grillo and Catarratto by producing intense, dry wines that instantly evoke a sun-baked, Mediterranean vibe.
