Winemaking: Organic Gruner Veltliner and Neuberger grapes were hand harvested. Fermented on the skins with indigenous yeast in stainless steel before being moved to old oak where the wine aged. No filtration, fining and just a small amount of sulphur added.
This Wine: You always get great value from Arndorfer wines and this new orange cuvée is no different. Hazy in the glass but still light, crisp and easy drinking. Very dry with flavours of salty peach, apricot and tangerine. Allow the wine to warm up for a bit after you take it out the fridge.
Notes on the Winemaker: Martin Arndorfer took over some plots from his parents back in 2002 before completely taking over the winery with Anna 10 years later. They oversee 16 hectares and produce affordable and approachable wines from local grape varieties.
