Winemaking: Organic grapes were harvested by hand. Whole bunches were foot pressed and macerated for a few hours. Fermented with indigenous yeast. Pressed into a combination of stainless steel tanks and old barrels where the wine ages for for 8 months. No fining, filtration or added sulphur. Only 6000 bottles produced

This Wine: Natural white wine in a litre format. This is lean and zippy with flavours of lemon, lime, orange and apple. Clean with a mineral finish. Great value. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Edgar Brutler produces natural wine in the Cristana region of Transylvania, Romania. He works with both international and indigenous grape varieties in his old cellar and honours the traditions of his family that have made wine in this part of Europe since they immigrated from Germany in the mid19th Century.
