Winemaking: Organic La Crescent grapes grown on limestone and clay soils were harvested by hand. Fermented with indigenous yeast on the skins in open top vats. Aged in glass demijohns on the lees and bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.
This Wine: Orange wine made from a hybrid grape that was developed by the University of Minnesota in order to withstand very low temperatures. This is a deep and intense skin contact wine with spicy notes of cinnamon and clove along with candied citrus peel and floral aromas . Best served with a spicy food dish.
