Winemaking: Organic Lambrusco grapes were hand harvested and crushed before 5 days of maceration. Fermented with indigenous yeast in concrete tanks. Trebbiano must was used to kick start a second fermentation and the wine was then bottled. No fining, filtration or added sulphur.
This Wine: Red sparkling wine with deep and dark fruit flavours alongside earthy and mineral notes. A rustic Lambrusco with light bubbles and a textured body. It really feels like you get a hint of life in Emilia-Romagna on each sip. Best served with cheese.
Notes on the Winemaker: Angol d'Amig means "Friends Corner" in the local dialect of Marco Lanzotti who makes natural wine just outside Modena in Emila-Romagna. He aims to make wines that reflect the beautiful land around him.
