Winemaking: Organic Lambrusco Maestri grapes were harvested by hand. Short time on the skins and fermented with indigenous yeast. Must from the grapes was then used to kickstart a second fermentation and the wine was bottled at that moment. No filtration or fining Small amount of sulphur on bottling.

This Wine: Natural sparkling red wine made in the Lambrusco style. Dry with dark forest fruits and just a touch of earthy, irony notes. Good by itself but great with pizza! Unbeatable value.

Notes on the Winemaker: Camillo Donati produces sparkling wines following the ancient traditions of his region, Emilia-Romagna. Known for their superb value, they show a beautiful purity of fruit and always serve as the perfect aperitif.
