This Wine: Natural rosé wine made from a rare grape variety that is also known as "Hairy Grenache" because of the appearance of the vine's leaves. This is a unique wine that walks tight rope between serious and fun. Candied red berries and stone fruits are balanced with an amazing strike of smokey minerality. We are very excited to open a bottle this summer!
THIS WAS VOTED BEST TASTING WINE AT HIGHBURY LIBRARY WINE CLUB IN JUNE 2024
Notes on the Winemaker: Sebastien Agelet previously sold his family's grapes to the local co-op until 2012 when he decided to take matters into his own hands. He is situated in the Hautes Corbières region of Roussillon where it is hot and dry but strong winds from the Pyrenees help retain freshness and acidity in the grapes. His wines are precise but full of life and energy.
