Winemaking: Organic Macabeo grapes were sourced from another grower. Fermented with indigenous yeast. Bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur.  

This Wine: This is the second vintage of Ferran's negociant white wine (the open padlock indicates the grapes are not from his own vines, but purchased from a nearby organic grower). The aim of this cuvée is bring people together to enjoy something that is easy-going and won't be the centre of the conversation. Light and fresh with a great balance of ripeness and acidity. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Ferran Lacruz is a young winemaker in his home region of Penedès, Catalonia who wants to honour the winemaking history and potential future of this region that fell victim to industrialised winemaking in the 1980s. He uses biodynamic practices in the vineyards and never adds anything in the cellar.
