Winemaking: Organic white grapes were harvested by hand and underwent direct press. Fermented with indigenous yeast in fibreglass tanks. No filtration, fining or added sulphur.

This Wine: A new cuvée from Domaine de Mena which utilises a blend of local white grape varieties. This was intended to be an entry level wine at an affordable price but it punches far above this category. Great concentration of citrus, stone fruit and flowers with a long, pronounced finish. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Sebastien Agelet previously sold his family's grapes to the local co-op until 2012 when he decided to take matters into his own hands. He is situated in the Hautes Corbières region of Roussillon where it is hot and dry but strong winds from the Pyrenees help retain freshness and acidity in the grapes. His wines are precise but full of life and energy.
