Winemaking: Organic Côt grapes were harvested by hand. 3 day maceration and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeast in stainless steel. No fining, filtration or added sulphur on bottling.

This Wine: Natural red wine with a light to medium body. Showcasing the more delicate side of the Côt (the local name for Malbec) grape variety, this is fresh and fruit forward with dark berries and a touch of spice. Can also be drunk slightly chilled on a warm day.

Notes on the Winemaker: Mikaël Bouges oversees 8 hectares of vines around Faverolles-sur-Cher in Touraine, Loire. He works organically in the vineyard just as his father did since the early 90s. His wines are clean and concise and show great purity of fruit along with strong mineral characteristics.
