Winemaking: Biodynamic Marsanne and Rousanne grapes were harvested by hand. Fermentation with indigenous yeast in stainless steel tanks. Aged in barrel for 1 year and then tank for a further year. Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Rich and round white wine with an oxidative character. Flavours of bruised apple, nuts, mushroom and minerals make this a great accompaniment for cheese. We held a few bottles back in the cellar to give the wine further depth and complexity and it will still only get better.  

Notes on the Winemaker: Jean Delobre makes elegant but powerful wine from the Syrah grape in the Northern Rhône along with indigenous white varietals. The vineyards have been biodynamic since 1997 and within the winery, there is a hands-off approach with the aim being to let the quality of the fruit shine through in the finished wine.
