Winemaking: Organic Merlot grapes from volcanic soils were harvested by hand. 10 days carbonic maceration fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged in fibreglass for 5 months. Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural red wine with light to medium body and refreshing acidity. No oak flavours, all fruit and minerals, especially black cherry!

Notes on the Winemaker: Il Ceo means "The Kid" in the local dialect of Davide Andreatta. His mission is to recover and restore old vineyards in and around his local town of Breganze which is just north of Vincenza in Veneto.
