Winemaking: Organic grapes were harvested by hand. Skin contact before fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged outside in fibreglass tanks and bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur.
This Wine: Complex skin contact wine with a full but silky body. Time in cellar has developed the apricot and peach flavours very well. Aromatics still shine through alongside refreshing acidity and a herbal character.
Notes on the Winemaker: Daniela and Pablo are situated just 25km from the Pacific Ocean in the Itata Valley where they grow Moscatel, País and Cinsault grapes on just 1 hectare of land. They have been working hard to undo the harmful effects on the land from commercial herbicides and pesticides.
