Region: Chekura, Itata Valley, Chile
Wild Scale: 4/5

Winemaking: Organic Moscatel grapes from 100 year old vines (ungrafted) were harvested by hand. Fermentation with indigenous yeast and the juice remained with the skins for 8 months. Just the free run juice was aged for 15 months before being bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur.
This Wine: Still orange wine that is dry and complex with a beautiful silky texture. Citrus and stone fruit flavours with some floral notes. An absolute steal at the price! Great with or without food.
Notes on the Winemaker: Daniela and Pablo are situated just 25km from the Pacific Ocean in the Itata Valley where they grow Moscatel, País and Cinsault grapes on just 1 hectare of land. They have been working hard to undo the harmful effects on the land from commercial herbicides and pesticides.
