Winemaking:  Organic grapes were harvested by hand and vinified separately before blending. All varieties underwent a degree of maceration and were fermented with indigenous yeast. Bottled with light filtration, no fining and no added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural skin contact wine with a light body. For those not so familiar with orange wine, this wine serves as a great introduction. Gently aromatic and easy going but with a lovely complexity of citrus peel, apricot subtle spice and salt.

Notes on the Winemaker: Andrés and Marta met whilst studying wine in Valencia and went on to set up Casa Balaguer in Alicante. The goal was to create the optimum conditions for healthy grapes by focussing on the balance of the ecosystem. Now they produce great value wines at entry level prices without any sulphur additions.
