Vegan friendly wine
Winemaking: A field blend of organic grapes was fermented in stainless steel and "tea bags" filled with riesling grapes were dropped into the tank. Other grapes all had a short maceration. No fining, filtration or added sulphur.
This Wine: Wilder Satz arrives in quite a different style for the 2022 vintage. You can feel the skin contact more here and even describe it as an orange wine. The zesty citrus fruit is rounded off with a more savoury-like finish. Added texture and complexity and we are big fans!
Notes on the Winemaker: Daniel and Jonas Brand hail from Pfalz where they took over their family winery in 2014 to concentrate on fully natural wines which are unique, alive and bursting with personality. We visited in 2018 to explore the vineyards and learn the stories that accompany the wines.
