Winemaking: Organic grapes were hand harvested and underwent direct press before fermentation in fibreglass with indigenous yeast. No fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural white wine made from two hybrid grape varieties. This is clean and crisp with a pleasant density and silky texture. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Sophie and Lillian Bauchet are natural winemakers located in Lancie, just south of the village of Fleurie in Beaujolais. They specialise in growing hybrid grape varieties that are more resistant to disease in the vineyard. This means less spraying of the vines which in turn leads to healthier soil. The couple are here to prove that these varieties can make wines just as interesting as those from more established names.
