Winemaking: Organic Muscat grapes were sourced from a nearby by grower. Whole bunches were foot stomped and macerated for 2 weeks. Fermentation with wild yeast and aged in fibre glass tanks. Unfiltered and bottled with no added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural skin contact wine with a medium body. Textured and balanced with aromatic, tropical fruit. Our favourite style of orange wine. Great by itself or with a light food dish. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Hortense Betton worked as a sommelier in London and Paris before she decided that she wanted to make wine herself. After studying under some of the biggest names in Southern French natural wine such as Danjou-Banessy and Matassa, she settled in the village of Padern on the border of Languedoc and Roussillon where she lives with partner and fellow winemaker Marius Long.  She only her first vintage in 2023 so we are excited for what is to come.
